Farzana Ali (@thesoundtherapist) is a practitioner-level sound therapist, meditation teacher and author of Sound Healing: How To Use Sound To Beat Stress & Anxiety. Specialising in creating dream-like states, Ali uses Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls and therapeutic percussion in her one-to-one sessions. She combines sound with executive coaching/ life coaching and/ or self-reflective practice depending on the client's individual needs. Sessions involve placing singing bowls at particular points of the body. You remain fully clothed, but are advised to avoid wearing anything with a bulky waistband or clothing made from thick materials such as denim.
