By Chloe Lawrance
With breathwork sessions to help calm the mind, holistic yoga classes to strengthen and stretch, and a special dinner served up by guest chef Nicholas Balfe in the Walled Garden, The Babington Wellness Retreat was a celebration of everything that makes Cowshed the home of relaxation and wellbeing.
Guests joined us for a two-day wellness escape, with workshops led by some of the industry's biggest hitters, exclusive Cowshed treatments at our original spa, and dining that made the most of Babington House's 'garden to table' ethos. Here's what went down during this zen-making retreat…
Manifestation with Roxie Nafousi
Our guests enjoyed a wellness workshop hosted by the highly esteemed, self-development coach Roxie Nafousi. Focusing on the mind, she guided our members on the power of manifestation, and provided tools on how to live a more content and motivated life.
Breathwork with Michael James Wong
The founder of Just Breath created a calm space, where members were led through the ancient practice of meditation. Wong taught the basics of breathwork and deep rest throughout two sessions, leaving everyone feeling more zen than ever.
Yoga with Shona Vertue
Guests enjoyed a tranquil yoga session for all levels by the creator of The Vertue Method. A holistic experience, Vertue focused on the roots of yoga and, of course, some much-needed stretching - all in the ideal setting of Babington's 18 acres of countryside.
Aromatherapy with Abi Titterington Lough
Created with Babington's very own botanicals from the Walled Garden, this aromatherapy session, led by 20A founder Abi Titterington Lough, created a peaceful space where members could engage with some invaluable holistic healing.
Food by Nicholas Balfe
No retreat is complete without some nourishing yet delicious food. Guest chef Nicholas Balfe created a garden to table menu, including Westcombe Cheddar Fries with apple ketchup, Applewood Smoked Trout, Texas Cross Lamb, and more.
